The Importance of Nikkah in Islam

Indeed, a marriage in Islam is not merely a social contract but becomes that sacred institution which unites two individuals in a partnership based on mutual respect and love with commitment- that is called as Nikkah,

😍which makes importance in the life of a Muslim, both spiritually and socially. It becomes that blessed bond satisfying many important aspects of life, emotional and physical as well as spiritual well-being, not very highly encouraged in Islam but a part and parcel of balanced and fulfilling living.

Nikkah: A Sacred Contract

In Arabic, the term

Nikkah means "marriage."

But more than just an assurance, it is a contract of sanctity for a man and a woman, guided by Islamic principles and teachings.

😍For an Islamic marriage, it is not just a contract but a solemn promise to be fulfilled in the presence of Allah (God) to create a happy and nurturing relationship between a married couple. A religious official conducts the Nikkah. It should incorporate the mutual consent of both parties and the presence of witnesses.Behold, marriage has been categorized in teachings of Islam as a spiritual means to attain closeness with Allah. And surely Among his signs is that He created for you mates from yourselves, so that you may find in them tranquillity; and
